Emilee Spokus, M. Ed.

Instructional Technology Specialist

Emilee Spokus combines her expertise in multimedia with her skills as an instructional designer to support faculty, students, and staff in developing and delivering courses, lectures, and special projects.

Emilee also teaches LA 83 – First Year Seminar, where she enjoys working closely with first-year students, aiding in their transition to college and ensuring their success throughout their academic journey at Penn State.

Emilee earned her bachelor’s degree (with honors) in digital media from Juniata College and pursued further studies in new media as a non-degree graduate student at Penn State. She also earned her certification in digital art from Penn State. In 2023, she completed her Master’s Degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from Penn State.

Outside of work, Emilee enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, hiking, training, and competing in obedience, rally, and scent work. She is passionate about dogs and volunteers as a trainer with Mt. Nittany Dog Training Club, teaching agility and obedience classes to the local community.
