Kevin Conaway

Director of the Office of Digital Pedagogies and Initiatives

With a degree in journalism from the Penn State Donald P. Bellasario College of Communications, Kevin has worked in the communications and education field for more than twenty years at CBS, NBC & PBS affiliates, as well as the Creative Services team at WPSU Penn State. He has produced and directed award winning educational experiences including “We Regret to Inform You“, a death notification training for law enforcement, in partnership with the FBI and Penn State; and “TOPCORP” Energy Training for oil and gas regulators, a three school collaboration with University of Texas, Colorado School of Mines & Penn State. His most recent work finds him leading the Liberal Arts Edge Seminars at the College of the Liberal Arts. This series of courses explores current events from multiple disciplines as they happen including topics like President Trump’s candidacy and campaign, NFL protest, DACA, Immigration, and a look at the the pivotal year 1968 and what it means today.
